Choosing a weighing or packaging system is not only an equipment purchase. The final configuration must match the product, target weight, required output, bag style, available floor space and the way the customer plans to operate the line. CBW therefore treats project support as a sequence of connected stages rather than a single quotation.
Start with the application requirements
A useful project review begins with verified operating information. Buyers should provide the product to be handled, target weight range, required output, bag type, available utilities, workshop layout and any upstream or downstream equipment that must be connected. These details allow the engineering team to determine whether the project needs a standalone multihead weigher, a packaging machine or a complete integrated line.
Customer-material trial testing
Material behavior can change the correct equipment configuration. Product size, stickiness, fragility, oil content, temperature and bulk density may affect the feeding system, hopper surface, discharge method and contact parts. Customer-material trial testing is available so that the proposed configuration can be reviewed with the actual product before shipment.
In-house manufacturing and production planning
CBW develops and assembles multihead weighers and packaging systems at its manufacturing facility. A standard multihead weigher normally follows a 25-day production cycle, while a complete packaging line normally follows a 45-day production cycle. Final lead time remains subject to configuration, materials, project scope and order confirmation.
168 hours of continuous pre-shipment testing
Before shipment, equipment is assembled, checked and operated through a 168-hour continuous testing process. The purpose is to review mechanical operation, electrical controls, configured programs and line coordination under the agreed project conditions. Testing does not replace the customer’s own acceptance criteria, so required test materials and acceptance points should be confirmed in advance.
Delivery, installation preparation and after-sales support
Project documents, installation requirements and operating information are prepared according to the supplied configuration. CBW has 10 after-sales service engineers and provides a 12-month warranty. The exact support method, spare-parts scope and on-site service arrangement should be confirmed in the commercial agreement for each destination.
Information to prepare before requesting a proposal
- Product name, photos and physical characteristics
- Target weight or counting requirement
- Required output
- Preferred bag style and bag dimensions
- Available workshop layout and electrical supply
- Existing upstream or downstream equipment
- Sample availability and acceptance requirements
Providing these details at the beginning reduces configuration changes and helps the engineering team prepare a proposal that can be evaluated against the real production task.
